The Tale of two ponytails
Ponytails are so easy to do! but alas we have two takes that require a little more then a brush and a band, but will give your ponytail a much needed lift in style, and have you more date or brunch ready and less, gym or bad hair day ready.
Take one - The crimped pony
You can use a good old fashioned, new again crimping iron and do a few crimps around your hairline and crown, or you can do some random single braids around your crown, and set with a dollop of mousse or a few spritz of light hairspray for 20-30 min or better yet, let it set overnight for a good deep crimp.
Loosen the braids and proceed as usual. ( for those who DON'T know how to do a pony..... Pull hair to the nape of neck and secure with a hair band :-)
Take two - The tousled pony
Spritz hair with a light hairspray and use a 1'barrel curling iron on sections of hair1"-2" and proceed to curl in alternate directions, you only need to curl about halfway up the hair shaft, and use a really light shine serum when done to smooth, seal and loosen the curl.
Then use a wide tooth comb or vent brush and proceed as usual. ( for those who Don't know what that means, refer to take one.
