Im so Addicted

On tuesday Trunckshow.com had its first trunk show, Fabulous,(pics posted soon) what a great turn out and I'm not referring to the vast amount of shoppers that turned out because frankly not more than 25 people attended, what I'm referring to is the quality of those shoppers, they can to shop! And they did with multiple purchases, the dress from Collective Clothing "A huge hit" only 2 remain in stock, The Navy jumper also from Collective "A huge hit" only one remains in stock and the Tees from public library, disappearing by the minutes also the giveaway tees "A huge hit" I mean I was super pleased and just to think most of the RSVP shoppers didn't even attend, so what am I addicted to? The Rush, the frenzy of shoppers trying to get that one item in their size before it sells (we don't do re-orders) is amazing and I hooked up with this super amazing jewelry designer from Tenthousandthings.com and we are putting together another trunk show happening in Brooklyn (Clinton Hill) I will keep you posted on the date and time, for now....

I'm in Miami enjoying the beach and clearing my mind for next weeks trunk show and its really serene out here and at the same time its party central with wet willies and fat tuesdays but its such a great quick getaway Luv, Luv it.

Trunckshow.com L.A Chic

I have come to the conclusion that I'm really a L.A girl at heart, I love L.A Fashion and when I see something that I'm in luv with its usually from a L.A designer or its being worn by someone in L.A or from L.A, I think its the whole laid back style of L.A the way you can put anything on and it just looks so Chic, and if you read the about Trunckshow you will get a better understanding of what I'm talking about so if I had to sum up Trunckshow I would say its L.A Chic.....

Relaxation

So, I'm on a little weekend vacation from the everyday hustle and bustle and I'm in Vegas of all places to "relax" but I'm at the Element hotel which is 20min from the strip and very green, modern and spa like, right out of Elle decor magazine. It seems that when you are in the state of relaxation your mind is free and clear and your thoughts are roaming and you can really put your life in the order that you want it in, at least in your mind, and I'm thinking about Trunckshow.com and all the plans that I have for it and just how I'm going to make those plans happen, so when I get back my first stop is to lock in a marketing firm/person and map out the course that Trunckshow needs to be on in order to succeed, I'm really excited about the fall collection coming in and I need to make sure that Trunckshow has the marketing to put it on the map, I know its not an easy job and in this economy its a challenge but I refuse to participate in this recession, I refuse to give up! we need to continue to "live" ...............

Not so Fab

Well its been a really interesting week preparing for the Trunk show, I have been in contact with the jewelry company that I loved and that "Did Not" turn out well, when I contacted the sales rep to explain to him why I would not be able to purchase the order ( since it was 45 days late and I had already spent the allot ed monies to purchase other jewelry he was upset, and I totally understood that but in these economic times I'm not in a position to spend excess of what my budget calls for and once I didn't get the order I had to move forward with other options, Well that was not the case for them the sales rep put the designer on the phone whom I explain the same story to and he went ballistic! When I tell you my mouth was open when he finished his speech I couldn't e even comment because it would have been a screaming match so I kindly put TONE on and closed that chapter. I really wish things would have worked out differently but the laws have spoken.

My Inspiration

I have had this image for some years now and I don't quite remember the designer so I don't want to say the wrong one, I love this image, it inspires me and it makes me happy, its just so chic and so me.
