An Uber Chic Laundry

Growing up in Harlem I never liked going to the Laundromat, but with 4 siblings in the house at some point it was my turn to schlep up and down the avenue soap powder box on the side and all (ugh!).. but then my mother got washing machine from sears and the super came and hooked it up (and if you grew up in a tenement building you know that this was forbidden, because of the strict New York water restrictions) but to GOD be the glory! lol anyhoo fast forward and....

Celsious, a NEW and modern eco conscious laundromat in Williamsburg, Brooklyn founded by sisters Corinna and Theresa Williams who moved to New York 5 years ago from Germany both with a fashion background, Corinna a Journalist and Theresa a designer (trained at Central Saint Martins in London, England)
Along side the electrolux washers and dryers, chemical free soaps (you pay for a wash and you get a free cup of environmentally safe detergent by The Simply Company) and water concious machines, is an outdoor patio
And an upstairs cafe serving organic Kombucha, baked goods and CAP beauty matcha drinks
