Follicles and Fashion was created as an outlet to share all the random things that "iLuv" and while I am a hairstylist utterly obsessed with all things Follicles and Fashion... I realized that it was time to grow... and so just like fashion "I am evolving" to include a very deliberate "Talent" spotlight, where I will highlight the Glam artist behind the follicles and fashions iLuv, with Q &A's, video interviews, and behind the scenes tricks and hair care tips.

iLuv a juicy lipgloss * a cold glass of champagne with a strawberry * a good book * a sappy movie * good music with throbbing bass * riding a bike on the beach * a walk in the park in the fall * Crunchy crust cheesy pizza * a good shoe and a nice fitted leather jacket * jeans that fit like a glove yet allow me to breathe, or hung just low enough not to show my crack * the perfect shade of blonde makes me happy, and the choppiness of a good cut gives me chills * I am a lover of beauty, beautiful people, beautiful places and beautiful things* I LOVE GOD and I pray and meditate, my heart and soul belongs to Jesus * I am Harlem born but all of New York City raised me, currently a Cali girl loving the sunshine on my face and tremors on the ground * I live life… I love life… Blessed and grateful that I have the choice to do all the things that I dream * Blessed and grateful to have family, friends, and a home, food when I'm hungry and hot water when I shower, My family is my structure, that includes all who I love, and who loves me back, this is only a slice of me…..

The Spotlight

What is the Follicles and Fashion Spotlight? A Series of blog posts highlighting Glam artist in the hair and fashion industry.

What is the purpose of the Spotlight? Im a hairstylist and all around creative soul and when I meet others like me I'm always interested in their story, their journey, what inspires them and how they see themselves in this creative world. I want to shine the spotlight on the Glam artists who work so hard behind the scenes to bring a vision to life for those on the front line.

How often will Follicles and Fashion have a Spotlight? We are scheduled for once a week, Monday or Wednesday the perfect way to start the week or get through the rest of it, with inspiration and motivation.

How are the artist chosen for the Spotlight? I see your work and iLuv it, simple… or recommendations if you know an artist and would like us to spotlight them @ us on Instagram or tweet us @folliclesandfashion or send us an email.
